Finally – after constant and
tedious work as detectives, agents and parents, Alex Troutt and Ozzie Novak are
taking their families on vacation to scenic, beautiful Hawaii. They’re going to
meet up with some friends and have a nice quiet time to relax and recover from
the harrowing events that they have survived protecting American citizens from
peril. Only, trouble follows Alex and Ozzie wherever they go, and this is no
exception. Alex and her family get caught in the middle of a gang war, and there
are murders, shootouts, explosions, drugs and murder. Ozzie, of course, gets
involved, and they are on a whirlwind adventure that totters on the brink of
life and death. Get ready, because the twists and turns are fast, and Alex is
in for some revelations on a personal level as well.
This 11th installment
in the Alex Troutt series continues to build on the relationship between characters,
deliver the suspense, mystery and drama that John W. Mefford is becoming infamous
